Tanawan
During the summer vacation me and my friends thought of something challenging
that will surely hone our bike skills. While searching, we found a post on facebook talking about this place called "Tanawan".
We decided to go to this place since it is near our area.
The photo above was taken from the very top of the place, the ride took 30 mins with a speed of 15km/h. Most of the ride was exhausting because of it's uphill roads, but after a long climb a beautiful view will show up and remove the fatigue.
During the weekend this place is filled with bikers, the locals said that this place is perfect for extreme exercise, with it's ups and downs you can enhance your resistance in no time. But the roads are not safe, it has a very steep pathway and it's tight, there have been a few reports of accidents in this area including bike crashes, broken bones and other injuries that may happen if you are not careful.
If you are planning to visit this place we recommend to use extra caution when climbing up, check your bike's condition if it has a problem or not. Safety is the no.1 priority when it comes to biking, bring a medical patch kit, do not attempt to ride to the place if you are a beginner, and lastly do not go alone invite at least 3 to 6 of your biking buddies to join you just incase something bad happens.
The image below is the road you'll take to reach this place, but we still suggest that you guys should use a GPS, especially for the ones who are not locals in Nueva Ecija.
